This past Saturday, May 16, 2009, I had fun making an appearance at my first live show, Heart of Carolina at the Crabtree Holiday Inn in Raleigh, NC. All the show horses were gorgeous, I even made friends with a few! : )


This Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig piece, Tango, was absolutely amazing! I believe he was painted by Melanie Miller, and he was a big winner at the show.


My big roany friend, Harley, was also a big winner! He had lots of fans at the show, what a neat guy. : )

YAY! Biltmore House! It's so gorgeous, and the weather couldn't have been nicer. : )

Asheville, NC in the summer

I visited Asheville, NC this past August and had a wonderful time! We went all over the place... visiting the Biltmore House and Winery, eating at great restaurants, and enjoying the local arts and crafts fair. It was lots of fun! : )

Tip-toeing through the.... Hydrangea! : )

It was so nice out today... I enjoyed frolicking in this Hydrangea, it's the first time in three years it has bloomed! Last year, there was a late frost and the years before that, the plant was too small to flower. I'm so happy it's doing well, and I loved posing for photos in the huge blooms. : )

The First Journey!

Indy just got back from his first little journey yesterday. It was pretty short, but he was able to do lots of neat things!

Here I am! I rode around in a little knit hat the whole trip and enjoyed peeking out at everybody. I got a few funny looks from people, but what the heck, I'm on vacation too!
