Cruise-In at the Char-Grill... Indy style!

My local Char-Grill restaurant hosted a Classic Car Cruise-In, so of course I went! : )

Indy goes exploring...

I went over to the old panning place in Apex, NC today. It used to be where folks could go to shift through bags of dirt and sand to find raw gemstones, and the grounds were gorgeous. The little buildings are still there, but the water troughs are long gone... and the pretty little ponds in the zen garden have been drained. A shiny new office building resides on the property now... I don't know how much longer the old buildings will remain, but I wanted to walk around, remember times past, and take shots of one of the loveliest pieces of property I've ever been on.

Last Friday night, 9-4-09, I went up to the Roxboro Motorsports Dragway and had some fun. : )

Indy takes on BF!

I enjoyed visiting Kentucky this past July, and though I didn't get out as much as I'd have liked to, I was happy to be at the Horse Park during BreyerFest. : )

I'm hoping to return in a couple years, and get some more pictures taken.

This past Saturday, May 16, 2009, I had fun making an appearance at my first live show, Heart of Carolina at the Crabtree Holiday Inn in Raleigh, NC. All the show horses were gorgeous, I even made friends with a few! : )


This Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig piece, Tango, was absolutely amazing! I believe he was painted by Melanie Miller, and he was a big winner at the show.


My big roany friend, Harley, was also a big winner! He had lots of fans at the show, what a neat guy. : )
